In Store Stars celebrates our high performers that deliver perfect execution at the point-of-purchase, creating an exceptional shopper experience. These employees are the backbone of our business. They exemplify the Smollan values and live out our purpose of delivering leading retail solutions.
HOW IT WORKS
For this award employees are measured against 5 Brilliant Basics:
A = ATTITUDE
Passionate, optimistic, can-do.
B = BUILD RELATIONSHIPS
Team Player, strong relationships with the store.
C = COMMUNICATION
Gives feedback, takes feedback, shares ideas.
D = DOING THINGS RIGHT. DOING THE RIGHT THINGS
Focused on what matters, disciplined, excellent attention to detail.
E = EXTRA MILE
Looks for opportunities to delight the shopper, consistently goes beyond what’s expected.
Each nominee is scored across the five Brilliant Basics using the following key:
1 = Seldom
Seldom acts in this manner.
2 = Sometimes
Sometimes acts in this manner.
3 = Often
Frequently acts in this manner and I can think of a recent example.
4 = Always
Always behaves in this way. This person is a role model in the business*
*In the case of a score of 4, the nominator is required to provide a 100 word (or less) motivation for the score, illustrating actual examples. The nominator may also upload a portfolio of evidence to support the nomination.
Nominations can be peer nominations, nominations by a Line Manager or a nomination by a direct report.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE?
This award category is open to all full-time employees of Smollan or one of the Group’s subsidiary companies, working in and or across stores at the point of purchase including:
- Merchandisers
- Field Marketers
- Area Marketers
- Promotors
- Brand Ambassadors
- Field Managers
- Regional Managers
